Ulverstone Boat Ramp – Update 3
Unfortunately the installation of the pontoon has been delayed again and is now planned to commence on Monday, 19th November with completion on Friday, 23rd November. In the meantime the ramp is available to use.
MAST again apologises for any inconvenience this frustrating delay is causing.
Ulverstone Boat Ramp – Update 2.
Boaters are advised the Contractors have agreed to reopen the boat ramp from this Friday, 2nd November. The ramp will close again on Monday, 12th November until Friday, 16th November to enable installation of the pontoon.
Please exercise care when on and around the ramp, particularly in relation to the five, unmarked piles.
Remember, if going out on the water this weekend, to check the weather before you leave home. The long range forecast for the Coast suggests the early part of the weekend isn’t looking too good.
All piles have now been installed and the works are 95% complete. The pontoon is scheduled to arrive on site on Monday, 12th November and installation should only take 2-3 days. We are anticipating the pontoon will be fully installed and the ramp reopened on Friday, 16th November.
In the meantime, we are in discussion with the Contractor about reopening the ramp while we await the pontoon delivery. As soon as we have an answer, we’ll let you know.
Thanks everyone for your patience while we wait through this unfortunate delay.
